If this one doesn’t scare you. You’re already dead!

“Phantasm” is the theme song for the 1979 horror film of the same name. Indian-born England-based music producer, composer Biddu credited to Captain Zorro recorded an incredibly well arranged big budget disco cover of the song. This theme from the 1979 Don Coscarelli epic focusing on lethal flying chrome spheres that stuck on people’s foreheads resulting in geysers of gore was pressed on blood spattered yellow vinyl.

“Pressed in blood stained yellow vinyl”
LMFAO !!!!!
Watching Friday 13th for the first time was scary, and the video for
Aphex Twins Come To Daddy really scared the shit outta me, but now days
there’s nothing more scary then the everyday News.

Couldn’t agree more with you Davos about Aphex Twin’s “Come To Daddy” video. That one was and will always be incredibly frightening. The song is jarring enough, but the visuals really scare the bejesus out of a person.

Have a nice day.

What “scare-gasm” is this!?! Paul, on the eve of All Hallows Eve you’ve certainly outdid yourself!! I had heard of the disco version of the theme from Phantasm, but have never actually heard the thing. Thanks for pulling out all-the-stops for locating a true collector’s item. The movie really disturbed me, but I really dug those flying silver orbs. And, The Tall Man too. Spooky stuff Paul, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Have a truly haunting Hallowe’en Paul. Thanks for making 2015 a memorable season!!

I don’t know what this is either but you gotta love the blood splatter vinyl! The cover is pretty awesome as well. Beware the Tall Man!

No idea this existed but I’m excited to hear it. Biddu’s work is generally underrated and deserves to be better known. As always, thanks for sharing … and Happy Hallowe’en!
