Wow, this was a major score to download, this particular Baltimora track in it’s seven inch form is so difficult to find, as it’s never been released to CD, and they are a multitude of pour lossy rips of this out there. Checking the track listing, so glad to see the single version on side two. Even finding the original vinyl is hopeless to find, thanx for this very rare upload. This was the follow up single to Tarzan in Australia, got some airplay at the time, but couldn’t buy the record, maybe only a few hundred were printed.
Wow what a great sounding recording and terrific song.
hI,
Actually it is an italian production and not an US one, written and produced by italians. Baltimora was living in Italy during those days and was èart of the same team that produced worldwide hits like Sabrina’s boys boys boys
Paul, ANY chance you can rip the “Running For Your Love” 12″. The extended mix of that is a favorite, and I know any version I’ve ever heard would pale comapred to your talents. 🙂
Forgot the “?”! 😀
Many thanks for this one Paul and for the Luongo mixes. I can’t wait to hear them.
Jeff
You’re welcome, Jeff 🙂
I’ve got to hand it to you Paul, I really love how you give records a second chance. Maybe the second time around will bring more excitement and discovery to Baltimora’s discography. I don’t know this one but I’m sure I will; there’s just so many things I don’t like. Hey, there’s even John Luongo mixes and you know how I feel about him. You are hitting a thousand Paul. Many thanks
This was meant to be me. But I’m sure Karen will love it too!
Jeff
Lol I will take it from either of you 🙂
Thank you so much Paul. Tarzan boy was a huge hit here in Europe. I love this song too. Didn´t know about these Luongo mixes.
Tarzan Boy was huge here as well sadly Baltimora could not live up to that success.
Thank you for this! One I haven’t heard in over 30 years, can’t wait to open this up and give it a “spin”.
You’re welcome, David 🙂
Thank You Paul. This is Italo Disco gold 🙂
Baltimora has some very overlooked gems in his 80’s catalog. Many thanks for this 🙂
You’re welcome, Jay 🙂
