THANK YOU! so much for your support during the latest fundraiser we reached and exceeded our goal.
I appreciate everyone who has contributed whether it be by donation or a friendly comment. You guys always make it happen, and I am so thankful for your support and generosity. Our next fundraiser will be in April 2024, however, you can donate at any time of the year.
THANK YOU! for helping to make BTG a great community.
It is October! and time for our second fundraiser of 2023 last April we had a very successful fundraiser in which you guys really chipped in and helped out so much. Thank you again. For those that are new to the site, we have a fundraiser every six months to keep funds in the Burning The Ground PayPal account to go towards site hosting, website security, monitoring & protection, buying records that are requested, and maintaining my equipment.
Our goal is always to reach $1000.00 which I know we will meet without any doubt.
Any amount that you can chip in will be very helpful. I also understand completely if you can’t give anything right now.
All you have to do to make your donation is click on one of the yellow donate buttons anywhere on the site. I use PayPal. It’s safe and secure, and you don’t need an account to make your contribution.
“Supersonic” is a song by American female rap group J.J. Fad from their debut album of the same name.
The first recording of “Supersonic” was released in 1987 by the original line-up of J.J. Fad as the B-side to “Anotha Ho” on Dream Team Records. The new line-up re-recorded and released “Supersonic” in April 1988 as a single; this version reached number 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Club Play Songs and number 22 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. “Supersonic” stayed on the dance charts for eight weeks. The single was certified gold by RIAA, and also got nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 1989, making them the first all-female rap group to be nominated for a Grammy award. They lost the award to DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince for “Parents Just Don’t Understand”.
