That’s a big surprise for me. Didn’t know this song and band. But when I read that Jellybean was the producer I was almost sure I would like it. And so it is. Great mixes as always when it comes to Mr Benitez and great feel good song. Thank you Paul for introducing me to Anthony And The Camp.
So very happy that you like it Daniel 🙂
Great track! 👍🏼
Thank you Luis 🙂
classic, thanks!

Thanks for the rip, Paul! However, I do seriously argue whoever wrote that blurb stating “… and was ranked as the most successful dance single of 1986” There is no way on earth this song was ranked the best dance single of the year. Heck, the song has only appeared on 6 compilation cds since 1986. First, who created the “best dance single of the year” rankings? Next, define “successful” (12″ sales? club play votes? etc). 1986 had a massive amount of talent and great dance hits from artists like Peter Gabriel, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Nu Shooz, and more. I… Read more »
Maybe it was meant to say one of the most successful singles of 1986. I’ll change it to that.
Honestly, I don’t even think any reference would be best. The charts speak for themselves (positively in this case). It’s very subjective unless there are definitions of the claim.
Sorry to be a pest…I’m just very passionate about internet claims. 🙂
Such a feel good song Paul!! I’m smiling like the Cheshire Cat from “Alice In Wonderland.” What a groove. I can see why it stayed at number one on the Dance Chart. But I must admit, embarrassingly so, that I don’t remember the record. I do remember the band’s name, but none of the songs. I can’t believe I don’t know this one. It should have been massive on the pop charts too. Incredible!! And I love the cover as well!! He’s a gorgeous cover model. Thank you Paul for schooling me once again on awesome dance music.
Jeff
I love the vibe of this record too Jeff it really makes you want to dance. That said I can see why it was a huge dance hit 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing this preciousness. Very rare to find on the internet. Better still in 24 bits. Your posts are magnificent. Thank you so much again!!
