“Tomorrow People” is a single by Jamaican Reggae group Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. In 1988, the band’s popularity was at such a height that they were signed to the international major label Virgin Records. Later that year, they went into the studio with Tina Weymouth and Chris Franz of Talking Heads to record their third album, Conscious Party. “Tomorrow People” was the first single taken from the album charting at #16 on the Mainstream Rock chart and #39 on the Hot 100. In the UK the single peaked at #22.

The album received a Grammy award for “Best Reggae Album”.

Paul, like BE.D12” above, I echo his sentiments. It’s great to have remixes here featuring the talents of Justin Strauss and Chep Nunez too. I love them both, but I have a soft spot for the editing talents of Mr. Nunez. Burning The Ground is like this incredible showcase for the Edit Kings like Chep, The Latin Rascals, Greg Royal, Carlos Berrios and Oh-Oh-Omar Santana. I love The Associates postings because you’re giving a lot of the community here the best representation of their 12-inch discography that have been neglected over time.
