Yello is awesome. Thanks for this share Paul.
Paul, Thanks so much all the Associates and I am grateful for more Billy and how appropriate that it’s with Yello. I always liked the Associates and love Billy MacKenzie (RIP), and it was only through Billy that I got into Yello. Prior to that, I just remembered them from Ferris Bueller and all I thought of when I saw their name was “Oh Yeah” (“oh no!”) I wondered how they had so many releases, but couldn’t understand why, yet I never gave them a chance. Then, with all thanks to Billy, I heard the Rhythm Divine and became a… Read more »
mmmmmmm…double dose of ear candy from Switzerland…I admit, I could listen to Boris Blanks 80s sound excursions FOREVER…
The 12″ mix can also be found on the remastered album CD One Second, as a bonus track in excellent sound quality.
Great to see two Yello posts back to back!
Thank you Neil 🙂
Thank You 🙂

Yes I do Tony 🙂
“live at the roxy” N.Y december ’83 can be found in “so8os vol.9” (blank & jones)
I’m loving your transition via Billy MacKenzie to Yello, who always sound absolutely contemporary yet years ahead of their time. Thank you, as always.
Amen to that VanceMan!! Yello really is an incredible band. They are so cinematic and exotic and so futuristic in their execution of sounds and samples. I always got a kick how stereo equipment sales persons always used a Yello disc as a demonstration in sound to their customers. They can do no wrong in my book. I’m loving how our DjPaulT brings out the beauty in their vinyl releases. I am sailing on a high-note today. Paul has mad skillz! Tenfold!!!!!!!!!
Jeff
Ooh Wee Paul!! It doesn’t get better than this!! So excited about these Yello singles with Billy!! Wow, all the work you do for us, I’m absolutely stunned with the final results. You are an Angel in every sense. Thanks TREMENDOUSLY for this. I’m really touched by the skill you have. Really, really touched.
Most Humbly,
Jeff
Thank you Jeff 🙂
Completely OT but… After the great Xanadu week last month, will we have another Olivia week with new hidden gems and treasures for her birthday in a few days?
Wouldn’t that be great!!!
🙂 🙂 🙂
Thanks Paul
We’ll see Max 🙂
Wow. Thanks Paul again. Wasn’t there a US remix that times in at 6.40min.? It’s just called the Remix
The US version includes a remix and a dub.
