I remember this video, and later in life couldn’t remember who did the song, for some reason I thought it was Laurie Anderson, but I knew that couldn’t be right… Thanks for solving this longtime riddle for me!

Brilliant – been looking for the longest time for a decent rip of this. Thanks so much. Loved it as a 15 year old, still love it 30 years later!

Hehee… fantastic!

I still can’t figure out how she got so many top name people to collaborate on this?

As a photographer had she befriended them all, were they her subjects? I’m not even sure what type of photographer she was? 😀

Can’t wait to hear the dub version. 🙂 Thanks Paul!

Efficiency and Quality!

Ha! Great Paul, I was waiting for this one without asking you. Nice to have the dub as well, and of course everything in perfect Paulity (which as of today is officially a new grade in the industry of vinyl ripping: Paul + quality = Paulity).

Well, if you hear what Demon UK did with their so called Tabu re-born reissue project, you really deserve a grade! Their reissues contain lots of bonus mixes, but unfortunately almost all of them are vinyl rips – such a disappointment! But if you hear HOW they transferred the vinyl and WHAT they used as a source, my God…. Totally worthless! You hear all sorts of pops and ticks, they filtered the signal in a strange metal sounding way to eliminate rumble or something, I really don”t know what they have managed to do. But one thing is clear: they… Read more »
