Hi Paul, thank you. Note that the dub here is significantly faster and at a higher pitch than the 12″ version. Did something go awry while recording?
I love this track. Thank you Paul.
Thank you for posting this, Paul. I LOVE this WIR track, and the 12″ is hard to come by. Now we get it in all it’s Burning The Ground glory thanks to you. Superb choice. Thank you thank you thank you!
You’re welcome MusicMan3 🙂
One of my fave WIR singles. I liked this remix too.
Cheers Paul 🙂
Cheers Marcus 🙂
Thank you Paul!!! Nice choice, please upload “Sight of your tears”.
See what I can do Guss 🙂
Love WIR! Thanks for this Paul.
You’re welcome Goodguy 🙂
Thank you Paul for this track. I know it didn’t get that much attention like “The Promise” did, but it was still quite special. Even Ultimix had a remix for this record I believe. Thank you so much for this week of posts. It’s been such solace to me and a sanctuary to escape into and not be reminded of the scariness that is our world today. Music heals and you “heal” us with your beautiful rips and lost and obscure gems. You are an Angel Paul and a Super Hero to me, to us!! Have a great weekend Paul… Read more »
I almost like this track better than “The Promise” it has that catchy hook should have been a bigger hit. Have a great weekend.
Thanks so much, Paul! As indicated on the charts, I remember this often in the clubs but never on the radio.
A gentle request for The Promise 12″ please 🙂
Have a great weekend!
I am planning to re-post it Fred but I don’t know when I have to go to my storage and dig it out.
Thank you so much Paul. This was a great band. When In Rome only released one album which is still one of my favourite. “Wide wide Sea” is my favourite song. Unfortunately it was never released as a single but an extended mix was made back then. It’s available on a limited edition compilation released in 2006 and it’s very hard to find: https://www.discogs.com/When-In-Rome-Burning-Mixes/release/2447284
I’m still looking for it. Heaven knows is also a great song. Have a nice weekend.
Have a nice weekend Daniel 🙂
Thank you.
You’re welcome, Gustavo 🙂
