Thanks Paul for giving these old records new exposure and thus, new life. I may have missed out on so much music during the 80s, but I’m not too proud to get busy scarfing them up now 🙂
Vinny Vero is working on their back catalogue. Avoid anything from 80swave.com a bogus reissue label.
hi paul, i am late to the party. but thanks again for putting up a wang chung single. i know, everyone in the US only remembers, everybody have fun, and maybe if they remember, dance hall days. but in the UK and europe, they had a lot more hits. i didn’t get this single until much much later. it was the b-side remix of the US ‘dance hall days’ 12 inch. this mix is one of my all time favorites. another classic, that they just don’t make anymore. extended, with lots of extra elements, not too long, and not too… Read more »
I’m not sure about anyone else but track 2 of the 320 MP3 does not extract properly for me at all. Tried on different days and different computer sessions. MP3 / 16 Flac is fine as is the previous and next days posts.
neil,
download it again.
the file is fine, just tried it,
and am playing it. no issues.

I get so touched by the outpouring of emotion when it comes to all the hard work you do Paul. I can only imagine how you must feel too because it is most sincere. Gosh, I love it here. Just had to comment again on such quality of work and vision. I still hope for the day when you are lauded by the professionals in the Industry. What you do is magic on all levels.
Eternally grateful,
Jeff
Thank you, Jeff it’s all of you that come here every day that I love. Reading all of the comments and the pure love you all have for music is really satisfying. 🙂
My second favourite WC song, trailing only to “Wait”. Have the 12inch, of course, but the pristine quality of your rip is godlike as usual. It´s a bank holiday over here (Day of German Unity) so I will further complete my collection of Paul´s 24bit FLAC creations 🙂
Love and light, dear Paul.

Love and Light Song And dance 🙂
Anothergreat Wang Chung 12”. Also recommended: the 12” version of Wait by Stephen Lipson of ZTT fame.
You’re welcome, Fred van de Peppe. Pretty sure I posted “Wait” back in 2013 🙂
THANKS Paul! I only had a poor copy of the 12″ I got in a collection put together on 2 CDs of the group’s various extended/remixes (which are all very good condition). Thanks again for making my day.
Kent 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
You’re welcome Kent H. 🙂
Absolutely love this B-Side, what a track. Thanks Paul!
You’re welcome Jon 🙂
Yes, more Wang Chung goodness! Thanks again, Paul. I think it might actually be my favourite Wang Chung 12″ of all the ones you have painstakingly restored and shared with us. John Luongo usually did great remix work in the 80s, and here is another example. Plus, I love the B-side…the Ornamental Elephant element’s inside us all..haha…brilliantly throwaway but musically superb. I have this on a crackly old 7″ from back in the day, so it’s great to finally hear it in such pristine quality.
EG.
I think it is one of my favorites too Eric. I enjoyed working on it 🙂
Wow Paul! This is another great post. Of course not as good as yesterday. I still can’t believe that you have posted a single of my favourite band. I love Wang Chung and this single is certainly one of their best. The Luongo Remix is excellent too and it’s so good to get your crystal clean rip. This golden month of October couldn’t start better. A million thanks Paul. I will always be grateful to you. Burning The Ground is like a fountain of joy. Life would be so monotonous without this wonderful blog.
You are so very welcome Daniel 🙂
I’m glad you continue to showcase Wang Chung’s singles. I don’t remember this release but John Luongo is one of my favourite remixers. I loved what he did with Level 42 – “The Chinese Way”
Cheers Paul 🙂
Cheers Mark I have a few more coming 🙂
Thanks my Vinyl Master 🙂
You’re welcome pjanus 🙂
This is excellent Paul. Thank you. Love all of WC’s 12″ mixes.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
I so love having you post Wang Chung’s dance singles Paul. You’re like the only one who gives their back catalog the proper care it deserves. Thank you for that. More than anything, we’d be lost without you. I’m so impressed by your dedication and all, I find it so exhilarating. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!
Jeff
You’re welcome, Jeff. Love Wang Chung 🙂
