Great post Paul. Picked up this record back in ’87 because the cover looked interesting and really liked it straight away upon listening. Transferred it to wav many years ago but decided it probably needed fresh new rip/restore anyway. I come home from vacation today and voila here it is in all it’s 24 bit glory Thanks. This original is 10x better than the Kon Kan cover. It is a shame they didn’t do anything beyond this single.

Thanks for this Paul, looking forward to giving this a listen. As a huge Kon Kan fan (I have all three albums, and all the singles/promos released), I am aware of their version of this track, but never knew it was a cover

Hi Paul, thanks for this really obscure rip. Being a Canadian, I actually remember this song and still have the 12″ single in my collection. Not sure if I actually heard this in a club or just bought the record on a whim, but I haven’t listened to it in a long time. Nice to have a digital copy of it after so many years. Don’t think it got much attention on this side of the border, which probably explains why there was never an album or another single. Thanks for rescuing this record from obscurity.

Never heard this one but I am so intrigued by the cover alone, I feel it’s gonna be great. I’ll have to compare it to the Kon Kan version as well. Wow Paul, so many times I would purchase a record based on the cover art alone. Your site is such an art gallery with phenomenal images from old, new and obscure favorites. I love how you delight our senses and fill up our ears, minds and hearts with your selections.
