Hi Paul,

Is there any chance you have HIP SHAKE JERK by The Quick? Much appreciated if you do.

Geewizz 🙂 summer of 82, portable cassetteplayer, the first cheap wine and beers, somewhere in the country, and friends asking to rewind, again…

I believe The Quick went on to become a band called Giant Steps who had an AMAZING!!!! song in 1988 called “(The World Don’t Need) Another Lover”

Thanks again. I also recall hearing this on NYC radio, probably WBLS; bought a copy of the 12-inch in 1982, but multiple & cross-country moves can wreak havoc on a record collection. What a treat to see this on BTG! Have a great weekend.

Paul,

Thanks for more Quick 12″ mixes.

Can I put in a request for Screams of Passion by The Family. I have the 7″ but was hoping to get a copy of the 12″.

Regards Tom in Oz

I just love this song!! I so remember this one and it’s so great to be able to hear it again in so much better quality than my initial memory of it on the NYC radio station 92 WKTU!! Paul, you’re like Felix the Cat pulling out AWESOMENESS from your bag of tricks!! Thank you for bringing this back into the light of day. I’m such a fan of these classic 80’s songs and you have tapped into my conscious of all my faves so many times over the years. You are superb!!

Have a grand weekend!!

Jeff
