hi paul, glad to see the site back up and running. it loads faster now. less graphics i guess. good to know they finally fixed (ha ha) the issue. speaking of fixes, i do think this band is underrated. so it’s always good when you post something from them. the normal 12 inch had ‘deeper and deeper’ remix on it. which to me is tied as one of their best remixes ever (besides ‘one thing leads to another’). so if people want to check that song it, its very intense, and has very cool synth sounds that aren’t found anywhere… Read more »

Oh good, you’re back!! I’ve been checking in the last few days and each time got an eror message – I thought this beautiful site might have been taken down. So glad to see I waw in error. Thank you for all you do to share these rare records that otherwise might never cross my consciousness – as well as favorites that I am aware of but haven’t heard this 45 or 12″ version.

Unbelievable that a song of that quality completely failed commercially. I have just noticed that none of The Fixx´s singles ever charted over here, not even this great single or “One Thing Leads To Another”. Strange.

Thanks Paul, One Thing Leads to Another was the song I associated with The Fixx, this is new to me and I like it a lot.

Thank you very much for introducing this song, Paul.
It has a very cool ‘mutant disco’ beat.
It reminds me a bit of Fleetwood Mac’s Tusk.
Very appreciated.

Peace,
Don Julian

My favourite Fixx song by far. I purchased the 2001 remastered edition of the album Phantoms because this mix was included. Thank you Paul. Have a great weekend.

This truly means a lot to me Paul!! During my college years, when this song came out, I couldn’t get enough of it. I couldn’t understand why the song didn’t climb to the top of the charts. It is positively one of my favorite Fixx songs EVER!!! Thanks for bringing the 12-inch back as I haven’t heard it in many, many years. I hope others will feel the way I do about this record as it really rocks!!!!

Have a phenomenal weekend Paul!!!!
