Why isn’t this record receiving more love? My gosh, what a record this one is. I literally fell into a dancing dream state over the production on this 12-inch! Martika is so right making the allusion to Pet Shop Boys. I love these synchronicities she brought out and by you, Paul, posting them! This place is so special and important! What sonic treats and great education on marvelous dance records! Paul, you are terrific in what you do!!

You’re absolutely right! At first, it sounds like Eurythmics (at least the chant “Love the beat, shame about the groove”), but when he starts talking/rapping, it sounds just like Neil Tennant (West End Girls).
And the percussion intro gave me the chills! What a fantastic remix! THANK YOU!!!

Paul, I think you’re sending us subliminal messages … lol … Yesterday, you posted an Arthur Baker remix, today and today a Julian Mendelsohn remix, then you casually mention PSB …. somehow, without thinking about it, I just started playing Pet Shop Boys – Suburbia, before realizing that both of them (Arthur Baker and Julian Mendelsohn) remixed Suburbia.
