I didn’t remember this song. Thank you, Paul!
What a great theme, I had forgotten that it existed, thank you Paul for sharing it, congratulations for bringing back a pleasant memory.
Wow this song rocks!! Thank you Paul for opening our minds and our ears to these deserving tunes that have fallen victim to obscurity!
You’re welcome, Retro Hound I am excited you like it 🙂
Wow! That post is fantastic! Never heard of Taxxi. Just love that song and the mixes are awesome. Thank you so much Paul for this great discovery. Keep the obscure 80s posts coming 🙂
A big thank you also to Jeff who must have requested this terrific record.
Hi Daniel,
I wish I did request it. I haven’t really thought about the record for some time. I guess it may have been Martijn (see below). If it was you,
Martijn, thank you so much!!!
Daniel, I’m so happy you like this song!! Have a fantastic day!!!
Jeff
It was me that requested it, but the credits of course go to DJPaulT for the diligent remastering!
I can’t thank you enough for requesting this record. And of course, our Paul who did a phenomenal job on the rip!!
Jeff
Hi Jeff, I’m so sorry. I was quite sure you were the one. Anyway I’m very happy to know this great band now. Have a nice day my friend.
Thank you very much for posting this request. I am sure many of us who did not know it, will come to like this track!
Thank you for requesting this one Martijn I always try to post requests if it is something that I have in my collection. 🙂
Thank you for the diligent remastering of the vinyl music DJPaulT!
Thank you Martijn!
You are welcome. I have been very lucky with requests 3 times: with Birch & Hallam, Private Lives and now Taxxi. All these tracks still are vinyl-only, so these versions here are as good as it gets!
Yes exactly! Your 3 requests are all deserving of being unearthed!
Just remember nr 4: Cee Farrow with Should I Love You!
I like the whole 3 records you requested Martijn. Your tastes are close to mine. Paul is our last chance when it comes to these vinyl-only tracks. He’s the best 🙂
He is. I have found other vinyl rips elsewhere obviously but it does not come close to this quality here.
I forgot to give DJPaulT also credit for yet another one of my requests: This Island Earth – Take Me To The Fire. Another great forgotten track.
In case you want to see the 1950s movie after the name of the group, it is not that bad!
I also like This Island Earth. Thanks for the suggestion about the movie. Will look for it.
THANK YOU, PAUL!!!! I would have never had guessed that you’d be posting this song! I knew of it, back in college, and I loved the record!! So much fun too. Of course, having the Latin Rascals doing edits on the track made it a must have for me. I was sad that the record didn’t receive much love at the time. I thought it was terrific. It has a great melody and cool production. I love that it’s a rock record that had pyrotechnics, in the form of Edits, on it!! This is a rush for me Paul. A… Read more »
