Twilight – Just Me Alone (UK 12″)

BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1985

Twilight was a synth duo comprised of Erasure’s tour manager Andrew Mansi and soon-to-be Nitzer Ebb tour manager Steev Toth. Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode, Erasure) took the production reigns of what turned out to be the duo’s only single “Just Me Alone” released on Polydor Records in 1985. With its catchy synths and driving dance beat “Just Me Alone” could have very easily ended up as an Erasure track. The b-side “Talk To You” which is just as good as the A-side was produced by multi-instrumentalist Ian Ritchie. The duo never released a full album and disappeared into the Totally Obscure 80s.
