Thanks PaulT for this do you have hooked on you by them,i was a massive fan of the freestyle sound and still am, but it never really took off here in Britain.
Thanks. I thought “Love Child” was their biggest success.
Dude! I can finally replace my crappy low quality versions of this song. Hopefully, you have some other Sweet Sensation mixes up your sleeve in the future. Thanks, hombre. Still lovin’ the freestyle.
Why do have it listed as #1…It only peaked at #58?
You had me at Omar Santana.
Seriously, you always have me at Omar Santana.
I’m in ecstasy! You are the man!
This is the best freestyle of all time.
A big hug from Brazil!
Thanks so much Paul!
Can you please post another Lost 80s / Freestyle classic track “Dominatrix – The Dominatrix Sleeps Tonight”
Hugs and kisses, John.
thank you for this post! I actually met Betty Dee last night at a show in NYC. Thanks for not forgetting Freestyle music in your posts! Keep them coming!!
You’re welcome Angel Love 🙂
OMGGGGGG, the Charlie Dee Never Say Never Dub!!!! i nearly fell off my seat when i saw this! Love this mix and for some weird reason, it was not available digitally on any compilation! Paul, you have outdone yourself, again!!! Thank you so much!
Thank you Gilbert 🙂
Yes, this is a good one. Fun female freestyle. The previous releases of Take It… and Hooked… would be much welcomed as well. Some great dubs and edits on all these records. Thanks for doing this one Paul.
You’re welcome Thomas 🙂
Oh, my dear dear dearest Jeff. You always paint a loving smile on my face. Your enthusiam is just contagious. I’m so looking forward to listening to this twelve inch later tonight. “Sincerly Yours“ is part of my collection and I love it. So I’m certain I will love this record, too.
I really sincerely believe you’ll love this track just as well, Song And Dance. There’s some great beats underneath those sweet melodic vocals. That always made a Sweet Sensation record something special because of the contrast of angelic vocals on top of blistering percussion. There’s this wild electric sound that is so awesome in the production. This is a class A Freestyle record. I judge so much of the Latin Hip Hop genre to these records that really care about production quality and musicianship. And you’ll love the edits too. They’re the cherry on the sonic sundae. Enjoy your day… Read more »
Enjoy Song And Dance I hope you like it 🙂
Hmm, freestyle and Omar Santana; you made my day…
So happy to hear that Jeroen de Haan 🙂
PAUL!!! YOU ARE A GOD!!!!! Let the worshipping commence!! I am over the Moon right now! Well, more like out-of-this-universe!!! You doing a Sweet Sensation track really makes me so profoundly grateful!! I know you’re not a Freestyle fan, and that’s not to say that you don’t enjoy some records from this genre, but I was always hoping (and praying) that you would someday rip a track by this super group!! I love this band so very much. Correction, I think I’m more in love with who was involved in the making of Sweet Sensation records. First there is Ted… Read more »
