i’ve been digging your site for quite a while, but if you don’t mind me saying so, this particular DL will not open in flac (which i usually do) or 24bit f due to the pass. i’ve never had issues before so perhaps check to see if its valid. thanks.

Super excited to see this. And I love how you often post something that “makes sense with the news” – in this case, I’m certainly imagining this being a nod to the new, sane, humane, decent administration coming into office. Sooooooo very glad for that. And so happy that my home state and forever state of Georgia also helped deliver him the majority he needs in the Senate.

But anyway, sorry – enough about politics! Just – thanks for the music!

As others have mentioned, a fantastic artist spanning decades with great music! I really love when he was part of the Spencer Davis Group and released Gimme Some Lovin back in 1967! Yes, that long ago and YES that was Steve Winwood!

I never knew of this 12″ because it was not released in the USA… and it’s too bad there was never a longer/remix version. I think all of his releases from Back In The High Life at 12″ mixes…and they are still fantastic!

Have a great weekend and thanks for the rip!

I guess the whole world feels back in the high life again 😉

Fantastic song by a fantastic artist. Such a shame that there´s no extended version of this. Talking of which, check out the fabulous 8-minute live version on… well, you know where…

Thanks so much Paul!! Any Steve Winwood post is always welcome, but this takes the cake as I didn’t have this 12 inch in my collection… Until now. Thanks again.

I really love Steve Winwood, Paul. This I proudly add to your other awesome rips. I hope one day (eventually) you’ll get to his “Freedom Overspill” which is my very favorite of his. Love the music you present to us Paul. You are most fabulous!!

Have a most enjoyable weekend Paul and BTG fanatics like me!!

Hi Jeff. Freedom Overspill was posted here back in 2013. I also love the mixes of it!
