What happened? Why so much mystery? Details of the causes of his death are not given anywhere.

This is terrible news. I feel awful. Steve did so much for continuing Dead Or Alive’s legacy. This bands music is forever in my heart.

Sad to read the bad news yesterday morning.

I was so lucky to meet him and to know him as a human being… and he was a great human being, before drummer and manager of Pete Burns and Dead Or Alive.

He will be “Big Daddy Of The Rhythm” forever.

Rest in peace, my great friend xxx

Trying to not be sad but rather celebrate his life & music.

Mad, Bad & Dangerous To Know is my favourite album of all-time.

Here is a link to the memorial post for Steve on my Facebook –> https://www.facebook.com/thebigbunny/posts/10156074835061223

Cancelled my plans today and am, indeed, sitting around listening to Dead Or Alive albums & miscellaneous tracks. This music helped me survive as an isolated teenager and it means the world to me.

Damn, those two could really bring the energy in their songs. When I was DJing in nightclubs, DOA’s music always lifted the energy in the room and packed the dance floor. RIP Steve.

5/7/18

I am deeply shocked as well as deeply saddened @ learning of this news! I considered Steve Coy not only a great musician & kindred soul where musicality is concerned, but also a great role model & “Birth Yr. Sibling” who will never be forgotten!
