BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1979
DISCO FRIDAY!
Sterling Harrison was an American soul singer, born July 19, 1941 in Richmond, Virginia and died August 21, 2005.
In 1979 “The Holland-Dozier-Holland production team signed Harrison to Motown, and he cut a would-be roller disco anthem for the label called “Roll Her, Skate Her,” but the deal ended after the single flopped, and a 1980 album for Atlantic fared no better.”
The song was included on a February 1983 episode of the sitcom Diff’rent Strokes titled Family On Ice. The song is played while Dorothy Hammill and Dana Plato are ice-skating.

You’re welcome :0
Sweet! Thank you, Paul!!!
You’re welcome Lulu 🙂
Nice song 🙂
Thank you for this and many other uploads.
PS – Hope you will finish the Wham ! singles by upping the last single – The Edge of Heaven/Where did your heart go.
Was it a coincidence that the Wham ! uploads started the week George Michael released his new album Symphonica ?
It was strategically planned Yog 🙂
Yes, George made sure to capitalize on Paul’s posts. 😉
