Thank You.
Would you happen to be posting ‘True’ at some point? Actually, I’m after the excellent ‘b’ side; ‘Gently’.

Sadly this wonderful song is so appropriate to describe peoples emotions after this terror acts and the whole atmosphere in Europe. Borders are closed for refugees and Nazis on the rise.

Spandau Ballet were huge in Europe, this is just one of many great songs they released as singles and 12inches. Of course the 12″ mix of Gold is epic, but I’m also very fond by their earlier, more New Wave singles To Cut A Long Story Short and Chant No. 1 (I Don’t Need This Pressure On).

Great choice, very appropriate concerning the dreadfful attacks at Brussels yesterday.
The best single of Spandau in my opinion. Great score, great lyrics, powerful vocals by Tony. I always liked the extended version very much. It’s just the version that should have been the album version and the album version should have been the single version, I think.

Never heard this extended version….I’m sure they worked very hard to build this version that is very very different from the album version 😉

Thank you Paul as always.

We’re Spandau that big in the US, Paul?

Compared to say, Culture Club or Duran?

Talking about great 12inch remixes – I wouldn´t mind Gold and Only If You Leave as FLAC 🙂

One of their best Paul. Do you also have Fight For Ourselves? The 12″ mixes are really hard to find.
