Thanks for this! Love Siedah… have her album with K.I.S.S.I.N.G. on it as well as some promo remixes…and her album she did with the Brand New Heavies, also fantastic…would have liked to see a lot more from this talented voice! Love her appearances of Q’s stuff, etc…
and of course, ‘Do You Want It Right Now’ by Degrees Of Motion on ffrr from 1992 if I recollect!
Many thanks Paul for such a great rip. This a fantastic song. What a voice.
You’re welcome, Greg M. 🙂
Muchas gracias DJ Paul , por compartir estos excelentes maxis, y por el esfuerzo por conseguir el mejor sonido de la mejor musica de los 80’s… saludos
De Nada Roberto 🙂
Thanks for the great post, Paul! I have never heard this song other than a tidbit in the Ultimix 1985 Flashback Medley. It’s always interesting for me to find songs from the mid 80s that charted so high on the club scene yet was never played on the radio (at least in CT) and never charted on a typical Top 40 list.
Have a great day!
This got played a lot in clubs here in OK often they would mix Taylor Dayne’s version in with it two dueling Diva voices 🙂
My friend
Thanks so much
I was looking for this one for so many years.
The one I have sounds not quite good … pops etc
Thanks!!!!
You’re welcome, George 🙂
I am glad you like it 🙂
Hi Paul.
Thanks all that you do here, I was wondering if you have the maxi single by Wired called To the best of the drum (1986)?
All 4 songs were amazing….I had the single back in 1987 but somehow I cannot find it.
Thanks for assisting please if you can upload it, a great dance tune!!!!!
It really is a miracle coming to BTG and seeing what classic tracks you dig up Paul. You really jog my memory, like in this case. I love this song a lot and I had almost forgotten it too, but there you go bringing back yet another fond memory of a great song and a happy moment in my life. No one should ever underestimate what music can do. That’s what makes you so special Paul. You delight our sensibilities.
Many thanks!
Jeff
Thank you, Jeff. For some reason, every time I hear this song the Taylor Dayne version pops up in my brain. Love this original so much. It’s a classic 🙂
Fantastic post. This song is new to me and the Jellybean mix just blows me away. There are so much subtilities in his mixes. In my opinion he is the best mixer of the 80s decade. Thank you so much Paul for this great discovery.
You’re welcome, Daniel. I always love when you guys find a new discovery 🙂
Paul, I did not remember this topic, thanks for sharing it. Now just enjoy it.
