I’ve tried to download this track with FLAC, but it keeps bringing me to a “Oops…” page. Anyway I can still download this one?

Excellent! Have always loved these guys (the only “prog rock” band in my collection). I’ve never actually heard any of their remixes so this is exciting to hear. Hopefully you have a couple more Saga surprises in store for us! Thanks a ton!!!

Thank you so much for this one!! SAGA is truly underrated. Would love to see the “What Do I Know” single on here as well in the near future.

Once again, thanks for adding some more light to this incredible gem!

Best wishes Paul ! Like in some ol’days, the vibe switches, some gitarmusicfans take over the dancefloor as their request is being played, a live Saga-track, right after a classic Donna Summer or an I-Travel-the-B-side. Some dancers take on the glove and try to dance on it, or just go to one of the bars and have a smoke. Was it 1987? This vinyl was played too, but the hardcore lovers demanded a live-track, and thus cleared most of the floor with just the intro alone. Netherlands, rural area, a saturdaynight around half past one. People in pink and limegreen… Read more »

Thanks, Paul! I’ve never heard this song but the Dub is pretty nice for 1985! If you start at 1:03 when he’s whispering, it reminds me so much of Marilyn Mansons’s The Beautiful People whisper-type singing! Which…COINCIDENTALLY starts at 1:03 also!!

I’ve never actually heard this before today, is it me or do the drums sound similar to The Pretenders – Don’t Get Me Wrong, which came out in 1986. Anyway I really liked the song and reminds me of the epic scale you would hear from 80’s Simple Minds. Cool post Paul…..Do you have Duran Duran – Save A Prayer (The Thunder In Our Hearts Mix)on 12″ ? I see so many debates (other sites) on the best recording of Duran Duran’s Seven and the Ragged Tiger, what vinyl version or cd do you think was the best quality, definitely… Read more »

I had almost forgotten about Saga, Paul. And thank you Song And Dance, because the song I’m most familiar by them is “On The Loose.” With the enthusiasm from Daniel and Song And Dance along with you Paul, I can’t wait to check this one out as well. It really has been such a great week with “new music” for me to check out. That’s the brilliance of BTG, not only favorites, but new songs to discover.

Cheers Fellas!

Jeff

You certainly gave us a powerful start into the new year, Paul. This is a rare treat, I haven´t heard it in a long time. I think I have this as one of my four Saga singles (The Flyer, Wind Him Up, On The Loose as the others).

Great songs, I must say. Have to buy a couple of their CDs. Listening to this 12inch remix I´m getting an appetite for more with Michael Sadler´s voice. Great remix, too. I´m looking forward to listening to the dub mix.

This is amazing Paul! I love that band. You already posted “The flyer” in 2016, which is my favorite by Saga. This single is beautiful too. The remixes are awesome. I’m so happy to finally get them in pristine quality.
This is a very very special week for me. Thank you so much Paul 🙂
