Great song. I love these extended mixes! 🙂
Thank you Paul. I look forward to listening to this.
Thanks Paul. Love, love, love Sade!
A BIG thank-you and a request: Since you’re on a Sade kick (which I’m thoroughly enjoying, by the way), how about the 12″ mix of “Paradise”? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qheY8PG50s
Thank you again so much for all these wonderful shares, Paul!
Sincerely,
MMDD
a song about my first time 😉
Another classic track and the only release to contain the extended version of the single remix – thanks Paul!
Have to agree that I don’t know what the record company were doing with the ‘Keep Hanging On’ B-side. It’s clearly part of a live recording of ‘Hang On to Your Love’, but why they chose to omit the rest of the track and only release this instrumental break, nice as it is, is bizarre. It’s a shame, as Sade’s live versions were always pretty good.
For the heart, sweat and effort you put into remastering. You should contact Vinyl Masterpiece. They are in desperate need to find a better remastering guy. I think it bears the name Paul…
Ahhh your name is Paul 😉
I am deeply impressed over the high quality of your remastering work. That is why I every now and then donate money. I think more should do it, out of respect of your pro quality work.
Best Regards & wishes
Dejan
Thank you Dejan you are very sweet I appreciate that so much 🙂
Smooth stuff from Sade, really enjoying your posts.
Thanks again, Paul 🙂
You’re very, very welcome Junior 🙂
I fell in love with this music.
Thank you
You’re welcome Ezequiel 🙂
Thanx for these Sade pearls. Love all of them.
But, sorry not your fault, i am really pissed about putting that live version of half a song on a whole side an 12 inch.
Yeah I agree Dirk a waste of space.
excellent, thank you 🙂
You’re welcome Brian 🙂
Thanks for these Sade 12 inches Paul. Verrrry nice!
Hope you re-do ‘Promises’ soon 🙂
Having trouble getting the b-side to sound good so it may be a while.
Ah Paul, don’t bother too much on that terrible B-side. Don’t know what CBS was thinking to put this lousy fade out on the flip side. If they wanted to edit the 7:33 album version kinda right, then they should have cut it off at 4:26. But still, ‘Make It like A Memory’ is not appropriate to edit down: the best part starts off at 5:39 when the closing ceremony begins. What a great finale, my God, I probably heard it a thousand times. Never get enough of it, such a complicated and fantastic score in a top notch production.… Read more »
I might just get the US promo which has “Promises” on both sides.
Muchas gracias Pault, por este post super, te pido el favor de postear el 12″ de Paradise
de nada Carlos 🙂
Paul! Thank you very much for Sade’s week.
Never As Good As The First Time is one of my fav. songs!
You’re welcome Spring!
Thoroughly excited Paul. I had no idea we’d be getting a trifecta of Sade!!! So worth it. Love playing Sade in the Summer when it’s late at night sitting around a fire. Very romantic. Again, you really surprised me with this third single. Gorgeous!
Jeff
Thank you Jeff 🙂
Wow. Thanks Paul. This is my favorite Sade single. Paradise and Sweetest Taboo next please ?
I’ll have to order those Omar this is the last of Sade for now 🙂
Ok Thanks
