I have been following your site for many years DJ Paul, unfortunately I was without internet for a long time, but it has changed and for the better.
and I sincerely need to thank you for all the songs that you have shared.
friend Paul, thanks for everything.
Thank you, Paul!
Thanks for sharing this gem. I thought I had it in my collection, But I didn’t. Thanks again.
Teen Wolf Too. Great song.
Thank you. The stereo channels on these tracks are reversed versus how they appear on my CD single and Best Of Real Life CD. The stereo channels of your Ordinary World cassette tracks also are reversed versus how they appear on my CDs. Maybe something’s up with your equipment?
Pease upload REAL LIFE GOD TONIGHT
Thanks Paul for this wonderful upload. I have fond memories of roller-skating in 1990-91, remember this song being played every week. It’s also a really timely selection, giving everything going on.
One of my first DJ jobs was at a roller skating rink played this one often 🙂
I LOVE this song. I actually heard the ’89 version first. I think it was used in the movie, Rad if I remember correctly. Love the Dance Mix. I hadn’t heard the House Mix before! Thanks for sharing. LOVE it.
You’re welcome MusicMan3 🙂
I was on a record fair three weeks ago (the last one for a long time, I suppose) and some seller told me that Real Life was still touring. Amazing. I´d love to see them.
SMAA is such a great, timeless song. I loved it the first time I heard it in its original release and bought the 12inch back then in two editions – the standard one and later on the five-track ep inluding Catch Me I´m Falling and Always. Fabulous tracks, as well. Such an underrated band.
I miss the days of record shows I have not been to one in ages. I hope we can get back to normal 🙂
Thanks so much, Paul! This yet another song that epitomizes the 80s! Curb Records was infamous for re-releasing many titles, often with completely newly sung lyrics but never mentioning it on the label. And trust me, some of the newly-resung songs were disasters. 🙂
Thanks again and have a fantastic (not just a great) day! 🙂
You’re welcome, Fred 🙂
Just by the title alone, I keep praying for an angel…….right now! Always a favorite of mine in all its incarnations, I’m so grateful Paul for your download. I feel that you’re an angel in our lives!
Jeff
.
Thank you, Jeff 🙂
Thank you very much for posting this! This song is a favorite of mine, and now I have two additional mixes. I appreciate it.
You’re welcome, David 🙂
Hi there, can you check the 24 bits rar. It keep saying file is corrupted. Thanks
BTW, I love all of your works. Really appreciated.
It works for me Mike try downloading it again and make sure it completely finishes.
Hi Paul, apparently something is wrong on my side! I was able to go around it.
Thank you.
Thanks Paul. Bothe versions are great but the original is a little better.
Agreed that the original is better and weirdly, when the “89” version was supposedly hitting I don’t remember hearing it at all, only the original version.
You’re welcome, Omar 🙂
Oh boy! I LOVE REAL LIFE! I just saw David last year on tour as well.
Thanks a lot for this Paul. I hope you have a crack at the “God Tonight” 12″ as well. That was their last big club it in the USA.
Hit, of course! 🙂
I will see if I have that one Goodguy 🙂
Thanks so much for this! Never heard the House version. That extra opera sample manipulation biz is awesome. I second the “God Tonight” request – possibly also apropos to current events. Thanks for everything.
