Oh I have always loved this song and I suppose I always will. Like Omar I prefer the original 12inch of which I have a copy in multicolored marbled vinyl but this remix is well done.
Thank you Paul.

Btw, some trivia: for the English expression “cloud no nine” the German translation would be “im siebten Himmel” retranslating as “in the seventh heaven”. So for a German the remix names of the a-side and the b-side are practically identical 🙂

Hey, I’m still loving the song and it’s 2017! Can’t wait for the 2018 30th-anniversary-of-the-German-remix black vinyl remix-of-the-remix version! Woo hoo! Gonna pre-order that puppy…

Thanks, as always, for bringin’ the joy, Paul!

Love this song, when I first heard this song the ’89 remix, my untrained ear thought it was Neil Tennant in another band going for a more “rock” sound.
Thank you Paul. This song is a classic, and I look forward hearing your transfer. I imagine that red vinyl does look very nice in real life.

I LOVE this song, and I actually prefer this Remixed version to the 1983 version. But I’m not sure if I’ve heard the 89′ version…. I will have to look for it on YouTube and see. What a great week in music on here, thank you Paul!

Thank you, Paul. LOVE this song and the ’88 / ’89 mix. I still listen to the original 12″ that you posted a few years ago. I think this mix adds a new perspective to the original, both are great. Appreciate you sharing this gem!

Thanks Paul. Like Omar I also have this on CD single. “Send me an angel” was a massive hit in Germany and it belongs to my very favorite eighties songs. But I don’t need an angel because I have you Paul. Have a great weekend.

I’ve said it a lot before and I’ll continue to say it, when it comes to you and Burning The Ground, Paul, it’s like so much of my personal record collection is coming alive before my very ears!! This song is such a classic. I’ve loved the original version from 1983 and I love this version from 1988. It’s fantastic of you to bring these tunes back to us all, better than we might remember them because of all the care you take when it comes to their sonic fidelity. Plus, so much has never hit CD compilations, like B-sides… Read more »

I AM FLIPPING OUT!! Yes Paul, the “Cloud Nine Mix” is a wonderment. I was covered in chills while the record played. Such a different feel and such an enchantment it left me with. I never heard this mix all the way. There was a Razormaid! mix that did incorporate some of it, but it is a true gift to have the full, Angelic version courtesy of you. I do hope you’ll someday continue with more from Real Life. They are so much more than this song as I know you’ll agree. Oh, like Daniel said, you are an Angel… Read more »

Thanks Paul. I have this cd single. Though I must say I prefer the original 1983 version better.
