Looking fine as ever, here’s a fan vid of Mr. Godwin performing “Images” acoustic, then live-to-track at iconic gay nightclub Numbers in Houston back in July 2012:

OMG I was just watching this classic song the other day on YT!
I only have the promo 12″ and the EP was always elusive, so thanks for posting! Another fave is the follow-up “Baby’s In The Mountain” that also got airplay in L.A. on KROQ
Wow love it!! The new wave sounds that could only come from that time period are just heavenly! In an era that produced this, Peter Schilling and Fiction Factory among many others, we were so lucky to experience it (and spoiled). Thank you Paul!!
You’re welcome, Retro Hound. We are so lucky to have gotten to experience 80s music firsthand. Todays music just does not compare 🙂
Oh My Lord! Finally. This one is on my very short list of vinyl rips and you have made a dream come true. Sounds better than ever on vinyl!!
Really happy to read this Kris 🙂
This is already a favorite. Can’t wait to hear the full 12″!
I hope you enjoy it, Todd 🙂
Thank you very much!
You’re welcome, Mischa 🙂
Fantastic find! Thank you.
You’re welcome, Dean 🙂
Thank you for another super fine release! I see Torch Song For The Heroine was produced by none other than MIDGE URE! That should be interesting.
You’re welcome, Martika 🙂
I’ve never heard of this before, but the involvement of Ure and Warren Cann on drums is intriguing.
As an Ultravox fanatic I missed Midge & Warren’s involvement because the 12″ didn’t list them IIRC
A thank you is not enough for this amazing EP rip!!! It was one of the finest 80s releases and a classic new wave, representing the 80s!! You’re the best Paul!!
You’re welcome, Dino. I love this record and had a blast working on it.
Although I haven’t requested this one, Paul, I am so ecstatic that you’ve posted it. Such wonderful memories of this song. Again, although I love so much of what you post (okay, EVERYTHING!!!), I really get jazzed when it’s a New Wave song. This one is an ultimate fave of mine!!
Jeff
Thank you, Jeff this one is a favorite of mine as well. 🙂
YES! Always got a great response from dancers when I slipped this on after “Baby’s in The Mountain”
Way cool!! I love hearing from DJs who spin the music I love!! Thanks!!
Jeff
