When I saw this come over Cyberspace, I couldn’t wait to respond, but we were in no cell territory!! Home, as of now, I am very excited to see this record. This was big in my neck of the woods. I really thought it was a lot bigger in other markets, but I guess not!! It’s so great having this again after all these years. And Chep Nunez Is masterful with the multi-edits!! Thank you, Paul, for keeping these Edit Kings alive on your site. I love this sort of thing as you know and I’m immensely grateful!!!
Jeff
I was sort of surprised when I read the chart placement of this record I thought it was bigger in the clubs. Sorry to say I never heard it on the radio back in 88. It is one of the better freestyle tracks.
Thanks so much for the great post, Paul!! I remember this well as it had heavy rotation in CT and in the clubs. It’s great to hear all the edits Chep did on this, too! He always made some great beats! Thanks again and have an awesome day!
You’re welcome, Fred I hope you enjoy it 🙂
