Hi there!! I was listening to the satellite new wave radio station, and I heard a version of this song that I hadn’t heard since Casey Kasem played it back in 1988. I had forgotten about it and now am wondering what version that is! I have searched Youtube but no to avail. I wanna say it’s called the USA Radio Mix, since it’s got a slightly different length in duration. Keep an eye out for it. It’s plainer sounding than the cd version but I like it!
Thanks for the OMD! 🙂
Thank you Paul
Thanks for your OMD run, Paul!
And I will take your pristine vinyl rips over the over-remastered CD ones ANY day!
I hope you’re healing well by the day, my friend!
Thanks Paul,
For the great OMD uploads!!!
grtzfrom The Netherlands,
Henk
You’re welcome Henk 🙂
Paul, You’re making everyone’s week with these OMD singles. I have the Retro Active discs and I do like their sound, however, since discovering YOU and BTG, I’ve been educated on what really great sound is like. And someone mentioned the Ben Liebrand discs, they are a labour of love for Mr. Liebrand. He does what you do, seeks only the best quality masters and then works his magic on them. They are so worth the investment. I’d love to hear his opinion on your invaluable work Paul. I’d know he’d be impressed and like me and BTG fans, extremely… Read more »
Thank you Jeff. I’d love to hear Mr. Liebrand’s input too 🙂 The retro active cd’s sound good but they do master them very loud therefor they do clip which causes audio distortion and quality loss.
A million thanks, Paul…
You’re welcome Ron 🙂
thank you sir!!!!!!!
another great work made by djPaulT!!!!
i’m also a happy owner of this 10” single!!!!!!!
You’re welcome Giorgio 🙂

You’re welcome SO 🙂
Excelent DJP!!!!!!
Amazing’s track’s!!!
Thank you DjMark 🙂
Thanks again. I guess you have the CD Retro Active Rare & Remixed Volume 7 that has this William Orbit Remix? If so, how do you rate the sound quality of that cd? I have only a good mp3 rip, and no professional stereo equipment to distinguish between good and so-so vinyl rips.
Matjn it is just like most CD’s. The tracks are mastered loudly and they are brick walled.
I am no specialist but I have heard a lot of similar comments from audiophiles that say cd’s are recorded with emphasis on volume, not sound quality. Why is this so?
Do you know the Ben Liebrand Grand 12 Inches editions? To me they sound great but I have also heard from people that know more about audio than I do, that these tracks are really well done.
I have heard the same about Liebrand Martjan 🙂
Thanks a lot for this.
Keep up the good work! 🙂
You’re welcome TVX 🙂
