I Sweat (Going Through The Motions)” is a 1985 single recorded by American vocalist, record producer, songwriter, musician, and author Nona Hendryx. The song was written and produced by Hendryx for the 1985 romance/thriller “Perfect” starring Jamie Lee Curtis and John Travolta.
The song debuted on the U.S. Billboard R&B chart on March 31, 1984, peaking at #28 on June 2, 1984, after spending fourteen weeks on the survey.

As a giant fan of Ms. Nona Hendryx, I am most delighted that you’ve brought this one back from the “groove yard” Paul. This woman I absolutely adore!!
