El mejor tema de todos los tiempos Summer Lovers
Do you have “Maniac” as well ?
Sumer Lovers?!? Summer Lovers!!! I love that single and played that soundtrack over and over again. Unfortunately, my folks wouldn’t allow me to watch the movie for obvious reasons. 😉 Thank you DjPaulT for this fantastic post!
PS: I can’t seem to remember Automatic Man but I’m sure I’ll love it. 🙂
It’s great that you mentioned the film Summer Lovers. I really liked the movie a lot and especially the song “Do What You Wanna Do” by The Cage featuring Nona Hendryx. That 12-inch was superb. All the songs fit well into the theme of the movie which my parents wouldn’t let me watch either. It was great that when I was older, I finally saw the film and it left an impression on me.
Jeff
I never saw the movie but I do have that Nona Hendryx 12″. Guess I will have to seek out that movie 🙂
Jeff is right, the movie does leave an impression on you. It’s not your typical love story. Greece is a fantastic land – good music throughout the movie as well 🙂
This is amazing indeed. Love this song and didn’t know there was a 12 inch!!! Thanks a lot DJPaulT.
Many thanks Paul.
Please don’t forget “Maniac”..
He’s no ordinary man…he was made to break your heart…
So sad! 🙁
Very very cool. Thank you!
You’re welcome Conner 🙂
Thanks Paul.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
Great Michael Sembello series! Maniac next?
Thanks Paul.
Didn’t have it planned but we’ll see Stefano.
What a wonderful surpirse this one is!! It was so excellent of you to post this especially since I just mentioned it yesterday!! I’m thrilled, to say the least! It’s been years since I last heard this. Actually, it was the year it came out and I was in college at a dance marathon a sorority on campus presented. The DJ just bought the 12-inch and played it there for the first time. I am really excited about this rush of nostalgia. Thank you Paul.
Jeff
You’re welcome Jeff I had the record pulled and was considering posting it. Then you mentioned it and that was all I needed. Enjoy!! 🙂
