This is fantastic, thank you so much! I don’t suppose you have her 1994 remix album Remixes Of Love? That would be a great addition as well. Thanks again!
shout out to additional edits and co remixer Boris Granich, and Christer Modig for powermix production they did a great job add overdubs along with gregski’s edit can you post dance ya know it by bobby brown?
Dear Paul, I know, I’ve already complimented you a lot concerning this album, but I had to, once more, sing your praises. This is a beloved LP that I have wished for years to come out remastered. I do have it on compact disc, but you have done so much to improve the sonic fidelity of the music. I really love the music here, but it’s the multi-edits that have me bugging out each time I play it!! Greg “Ski” Royal and company really bring a whole different attack to editing. They treat each song like a diamond with each… Read more »

What a treat this is. I’m a big Jody Watley fan since her Shalamar days.
Thanks Paul 🙂
You’re welcome 🙂
Thanks for the great post, Paul! I bought the cd version of this the minute it was released. As Feanor stated, I played my cd all the bleeping time! Just the sight of this cover art brings me right back to 1989 and bringing this cd EVERYWHERE. 🙂 Thanks for the hard work and have an awesome weekend!!
You’re welcome, Fred I have always adored this record and wanted it to shine as it should. Have a great weekend. 🙂
And Paul, you really made this shine like a diamond. I don’t remember my CD sounding this great!! Can’t thank you enough!!
Jeff
I remember listening to this cassette on my Walkman until the tape broke! Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome 🙂
PAUL!!! You have given me a powerful climax!! My underwear is soaked!! I love Jody, and she has some of the best people in dance making this a phenomenally mixed album!! And what a smorgasbord of edits there are!! Greg “Sk” Royal and company put together a dazzling execution of cuts and splices that are fierce and INSANE!! Hope it’s not too much for some!! For me, it’s extreme editing at its best!! Paul, you’ve chosen the best tunes to bring in a fantastic weekend!! C-C-Cannot thank you enough!! Have an awesome weekend!! You too Song And Dance, Fred and… Read more »
Hi Jeff! You want to talk about a bad ass fierce scratch? Check out this Dub mix and at 0:41 when they scratch so nicely Don’t You Want Me by Jody Watley!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqK5oJosA7I Paul, if you’re seeing this post, it would be awesome if you could post this Seduction 12″ sometime (as well as You’re My One And Only in which there were several). 🙂
Fred!!
Love what you share with me/us about very cool music!! Can’t wait to check it out!! Have a great weekend!!
Jeff
Trying not to toot my horn…but I honestly have some kind of audio “photographic memory” where I listen to a song once and I remember, forever, every single nuance of that song. And when I say song, I mean every version/remix of it. When I make references to stuff like that youtube video, it’s because I remember exactly where it is in that song and I don’t have to go looking for it to recall it. Anyway, I don’t know if there’s a term for this but it’s quite crazy and you have no idea how many Name That Tune… Read more »
Hearing this about you has me more impressed with you Fred! What a blessing this is. I am jealous of such a gift!!
Have a great weekend!!
Jeff
WHOA!!! Hot and INCREDIBLE!!!
Many thanks!!
Jeff
I was just listening to this the other day and even thought it was beyond time for her early work to be remastered, even an expanded edition with all of her amazing remixes would be great. Thank you for posting. LOVE.
You’re welcome 🙂
