Thanks for another great INXS track Paul.
I’ve had the What You Need remix for years, but this Listen Like Thieves 12″ is brand-new to me. WOW! Thanks so much Paul!
Cool! Loving the post. Thanks 🙂
Thanks for back-to-back InXS, Paul.
Yes Michael Hutchinson is a great remixer…love his remix of Each Time You Break My Heart by Nick Kamen. As for Kevorkian, he is a legend, nuff said!
thanks for these inxs records!
Wow Paul, another great INXS track, the quality of your recordings of these old vinyls is excellent, I wish Inxs would release their early 12″ collection on cd, especially Dekadance (1983 & 1984 versions).
INXS early 12″ extended are brilliant as well as the early Duran Duran Night Versions, I wish modern day remixes were based on these early 80’s extended versions.
Thank You Paul.
You’re very welcome MrEd 🙂
These INXS singles are a great surprise! The graphic design on them covers were top notch! I hadn’t thought about 12 inch singles outside of Original Sin, etc… ! Thanks very much!
You’re welcome GooGG 🙂
*Michael Hutchence 😉
Many thanks for the wonderful posts!!!
You’re welcome Frank 🙂
I think you’re referring to the Michael Hutchinson entry being a mis-spelling, but if you click on the Discogs link you’ll find that he is an engineer that regularly worked with François Kevorkian. Unless, he needed some extra money and it WAS actually Michael Hutchence! 🙂
Correct Micmij he is a remix engineer not the lead singer of INXS.
Thanks Paul.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
Paul, again, you have me speechless!! The digital first-aid you apply to vintage vinyl is extraordinary!!! Wow, I’m loving these INXS remixes!!! I’ve been waiting for an official CD release of classic twelves, but it’s all in vain. You have come to the rescue and EXTREMELY GENEROSLY, have ripped these and remastered them into aural bliss!! I love when your fans marvel at your talents!! You deserve all this flattery and more. Again, I wish the labels and/or artists would reach out to you so you could assist them when there is a missing master tape. What you do with… Read more »
Thank you Jeff I don’t mint if you go on and on. I am proud to have you as one of my readers.
Wow, love that cover art! A very nice coffee table book of 1980s’ 12″ single art could be made by someone. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be me 🙂 As always, thank you for the superlative rip!
Tim the cover is part of why I bought this single. I am a cover buyer. If the cover is cool I will most likely buy it 🙂
Another rare beauty! Thanks for all the hard work you put into your rips. Excellent job. A few months back I went through your whole blog month per month, year by year, and what I noticed is that you re-ripped and/or re-activated a handful of 12 inches without ever communicating about that officially through your (almost) daily notifications. For instance, I saw that you re-ripped all your Billy Ocean and A Flock Of Seagull posts with your OM30 stylus. Thanks for that! Your BTG-fans would like to follow your maintenance very closely, that way we know when we have to… Read more »
Actually Stefano I don’t think I re-ripped the Billy Ocean and A Flock Of Seagulls records by looking at the date of the post. I think what happened was right after Megaupload was shut down I was still using the free wordpress blog and had not switched over to my current paid hosting service. I was in a rush to fix as many links as I could because that Megaupload shut down caused most of the links from 2010 and 2011 to be dead. I’m pretty sure I just re-uploaded those files and forgot to change the ripping info those… Read more »
P.S. I will always let you know if I re-rip something with the “Newly Re-ripped Remastered” heading 🙂
Excellent Paul!!! thank you very much.
You’re welcome Guss 🙂
Awesome once again!
Thank you NKelly 🙂
Yesss! More INXS! 🙂 Thank you very much, Paul.
You’re welcome Murdock 🙂
WOW!!! Two awesome 12-inch singles from INXS’s best album in the less than a week. LOVE IT!
Enjoy! Don 🙂
