Damn Paul, you’ve outdone yourself with this one: this is without a doubt one of THE rarest INXS 12″ maxi singles to come by and yet THE best version available. Well, in my humble opinion at least! Affecionados will recognise this as being almost identical to the version on the WEA Australia releases “Burn For You” maxi single and the Dekadance cassette, the only difference between those versions and the US promo here is the Australian version repeats the 4’18″~4’20” section twice prior to the sax solo. Otherwise… Excellent rip my friend, sounds every bit as good as the copy… Read more »
Thank you sooo much for this one Paul.
I am forever swooning over the tracks you present to us dear Paul!! I am a HUGE fan of INXS and love their dance mix catalog. Thank you for this version. I am a bit embarrassed because I’ve never heard this mix before. Thank you many times over Paul. You are the real deal in my opinion. What you give us is so breath taking and beyond generous.
Very Happy Indeed!!
Jeff
Brilliant track! Another great 12″ 🙂 Can I ask a question too DJPaul? You being a big Dead or Alive fan… I spotted on discog’s a 12″ single of Brand New Lover, a Japanese promo containing an exclusive mix called “Bagus Mix”. I have searched a lot for info about this mix but have come up with nought (besides this discogs entry). Do you or any of your readers own this, or have heard it? Is it an edit of a previously issued mix or something else altogether? I’d love to find out more 🙂 If you or any of… Read more »
Great post, thank you so much Paul!!!
INXS are always welcome, i prefer the early singles in particular.
Thanks Paul 🙂
Me too Junior. Enjoy! 🙂
I also own this exact promo single. It is a great mix! Thanks!
You’re welcome J. 🙂
Thank you Paul for this new post. It’s fine to have the remix of “I send a message” in master quality. I love the early works of INXS. I own the french edition of this 12-inch single with remixes of “Burn for you” and “Johnson’s aeroplane” on the B-side.
You’re welcome Daniel I prefer early INXS too 🙂
Thanks Paul.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
Thank you Paul!!! my favorite band, i hope more from them.
You’re welcome Guss 🙂
