Thanks so much for this, DJPaul!
Just saw him last night, amazing!
I am also enjoying “the warmth” of your miraculous rips Paul!! I love how you cause so much excitement, especially when it’s a revered artist like Mr. Howard Jones. I feel so passionately over the service you provide for us Paul. If I go on with my raves it’s just that I want you to know how much I cherish what you do. You’re giving me and others the music that matters, not just for nostalgic and sentimental reasons, but the incredible education to those who might’ve missed out the first time, or those of us who never knew a… Read more »
My pleasure Jeff I love hearing from you guys about how the music affects you. I am forever grateful to all of you 🙂
Fantastic took this back in the days when i only took 320 not FLAC as i was unaware of what they were exactly. Please ignore above request for now as LTGTKYW is still up. Please re-rip 2010’s ‘You know i love you… Don’t you’ and 2010’s ‘Pearl in the shell (US 12″ promo)’ rips. Both have been down for at least four years now. In fact i requested re-ups in 2013 for both. I will burn a Hojo BTG CD or 2 once i have the re-ups. Many thanks. Great to see another Hojo post after 18 months.
LTGTKYW was ripped using my older inferior equipment so I am going to re-rip it at some point. Anything 2012 or older was ripped with that equipment.
Of course i completely understand that what i mean is that the rip of LTGTKYW is live and always has been. The other two 12″s have been dead for four years and therefore of much more importance as many of us followers of your wonderful site do not have these rips at all !!
Hi Paul, sorry to ask, but PLEASE could you re-rip “You Know I Love You… Don’t You?” (UK 12″). This remix is exceptional! If you listen to the vinyl loud you’ll hear incredible synth sounds popping all round the room. Certainly favourite HoJo remix! Thank you!
I am planning to re-rip the Howard Jones singles that have dead links Anthony so hopefully I will get to it soon 🙂
That will be awesome, thank you for the effort and time you spend!!!
Wow! Awesome! Howard is so great! The CD remasters are great but you can’t beat the warmth of an amazing vinyl rip.
Thank you!
You’re welcome AnthonyC. Enjoy the warmth 🙂
Thanks. For those interested, the remixes are available on the Risk – 12″ Remixes CD, available in the 12″ Album / Action Replay CD box set.
I’ll stick with the high resolution vinyl. Thank you Paul!!
Yes i probably forget that. I have all those excellent box sets!!
Paul, thank you !!! Hope you could post Like To Get To Know You Well next!
You’re welcome Omar see what I can do 🙂
No need still on site please re-rip 2 down 12″s first.
It was ripped however with my older inferior equipment so it could use an update at some point 🙂
