I am loving BTG – thank you so much for all the effort, time and love you have put into it. Let me tell you a story about this record. Culture Club toured here in Australia three times in the past two and a half years. On the first trip I went down to where they were staying and was fortunate enough to meet ‘the other three’, George was keeping a low profile as usual. I had a few CC records which they signed. Then I pulled out my Heartbeat UK record for Jon Moss to sign. He said ‘Wow,… Read more »
Thank you so much for this re-work
Would be nice if you have time one day to also rip the 7inches which has different versions :p

This was a new song that you introduced me to. I love that!
Paul! Man, what do you do to me! First, you provide so many of my favorites here on BTG, but then you introduce me to tracks I wasn’t aware of in the first place! I can’t thank you enough for this single! It has since become my anthem for the summer of 2015! I can not believe that this didn’t make it! What is wrong with people. This is so darn catchy and frothy and F-U-N!!! And holy Toledo!!! Those edits!! They whiz past one’s ears with such fierceness that they take my breath away. And I love the part… Read more »
Hey Paul, I remember being so excited to find this when I first found BTG. I don’t know one single other person that had ever heard of Heartbeat UK. 😀 Do you have the 7″ version too? BTW, I don’t think I noticed before, but that fantastic sleeve was done by Stylorouge – they went on to do loads of really great sleeves in the 90s, eg pretty much all of Blur’s records, Jesus Jones, and some of Pulp – and tonnes more, google them or check them out on Discogs. I met the head guy from there, Rob O’Connor,… Read more »
Hi jermajesty I am happy that you like this record I hope that you downloaded the re-rip as it is really superior to the old one. I don’t have the 7″ right now I may try to locate it at some point. I have always loved Stylorouge sleeves tose guys are so creative. A cool sleeve often makes me buy the record even if I am not familiar with it 🙂
Can’t wait to listen to this. Love the picture sleeve! Thank You!
It is a great picture sleeve. Enjoy Gilbert 🙂
Hello, Paul!
Funny. Found file: “Ace Of Base – Everytime It rains (the Remixes) (US 12″ Promo) (1999)” but it is not published in the blog. 🙂
i pulled that one off the site 🙂
Awesome. Previously down a long time so i’ve never had this!
yeah I know Neil. Maybe I will get the rest re-ripped within the nex five years lol 🙂
Lol. What about a re-up. Isn’t that a lot quicker to get links back up for now? Maybe you’re not happy with ANY of the old rips you perfectionist you! This blog will be stunning in 5 years i can’t even imagine. At some point i want to burn all your rips in chronological order for many artists. In fact i’ve already done that in the past for some but with obvious gaps as so much out there a new rip or re-rip makes these CD’s obsolete as i’m a completist!
Hi Paul,
good choice to re-rip this rare 12″!
have you got The Jets “Cross my broken heart” of the same year (1987) ?
many thanks.
you’re welcome BE.D12” 🙂
Thanks Paul. I have this single too. Do u have Roman Hollidays Fire Me Up 12″ single ? Many thanks.
you’re welcome Omar I will have to see if I have that record in storage 🙂
