I think it is this version that is on the new remastered Nightclubbing-bonus-album. A good test to see how it comes out. Paul you do have some better digitalizations than the official ones….
Just compaired the remastering. Man, you did a verrry good job. Although the re-newed bas is incredible on Nightclubbing Deluxe, your highs are much better, i think. And that makes the overall sound more crisp in your rip. (Still hoping you do a rerip of the compass point vinyls again too 🙂
Fabulous 12″ version of Feel Up, so hard to find, especially in such high quality. As others have mentioned in this thread, this is by far the best mix of the song, remixed by the late and eternally great Larry Levan. Thank you so much!
This is great, great stuff. Love that Compass Point sound and this is a great example of it.
Hey Paul — I can’t access the link to the mp3. When I click on it, I’m taken to an iLivid download ad then to a Internet vs. Hollywood petition. Is there a new link? Thanks much.
Jbird that’s becausse when Megaupload was closed down Multiupload went with it. I havn’t gotten round to fixing all of the dead links yet. There is like 2 years worth.
Links have been fixed. Enjoy 🙂
Thank you for the great selection of rare mixes in high quality!
This is the best mix of “Feel Up”, IMHO, if for no other reason than it has the full, filthy vocal. It is also on the Pumping Iron II soundtrack, but of course the mastering is better on this 12″. Many thanks for the rip!
Cool… you can’t move for Grace Jones 12″s round here at the mo. 😀 😀 Thanks.
Wow! Thanks for the latest Grace Jones tracks!
Love the Instrumental take on “I Need A Man”.
Would love to see some early Celine tracks on Burning The Ground, there are some extendeds for “Je Ne Veux Pas”, “Je Danse Dans Ma Tête”, “Unison”… all of 80’s and 90’s
And thanks again for adding me on you links!
A favourite Grace Jones single with me.
Clearly reggae-tinged, but also tribalistic and animalistic to me.
How wonderful to have the 12″ version finally!
Again, the Compass Point set only had the shorter version.
Thanks Paul!
Thank you, Paul!
Thank you! thank you! thank you!
