“Calling Your Name” was the fifth single released by Australian pop-rock band, Geisha released in July 1987. The track was taken from the band’s second studio album “Midnight To Dawn”. “Calling Your Name”, reached the Australian top 100, but never made it to the top 50 peaking at #57.

I’ve always been very fond of 80s Australian rock and this is as good as all the other Ozzie bands at that time, but I guess INXS and Midnight Oil did not leave enough room for other great bands to be discovered … or maybe this band sounded too much like INXS. Either way, this is fantastic! Another great find. THANK YOU!!!

That is catchy as anything!! Completely new to me, as I’m sure it will be to a lot of this community. The singer even sounds a bit like Michael Hutchence. Thanks for reviving this and giving it new life (that it deserves)!
