Radio Station KQAK The Quake in San Francisco played this in the overnight hours when this first came out. A few years later we played it on LIVE 105 in the overnight hours as well.

For me I’ll be honest, I was floating on the big super pond known as the Pacific Ocean when this song came so I never heard this during it’s heyday. I do remember seeing magazine ads for the 900 sex lines charging as much as $3.00 per minute even back then. This song definitely reminisces on those phone sex lines. It didn’t take long for the government to shut these down.

Thanks for bringing back this fun memory that I never enjoyed back then.

EAR-GASMIC Paul!!!! How “terrific” of you posting this classic, especially since the Jaya post jogged my memory for this track. WOW!! I bought this record after reading a review in the classic magazine, “Dance Music Report” and was won over by it. As a lusty adolescent at the time, I always enjoyed songs that pushed the envelope. I had so much fun using this song on my mix-tapes. Someone borrowed it, and the next day, I heard the song being cranked out the college’s dormitory! I knew it was my track because I went to a very conservative school. Yes,… Read more »

No worries.
It’s just the name ‘Steinski’ made me think of that track above.
Is it ‘Bodyrock’ by Moby…..there’s a live version where he says Rap had no bitches ‘n’ hoes etc at one time and a lot of it was party music ?

The song was a huge club hit, here in Seattle.

Surprisingly, it did get radio airplay on our local dance music station, for years. Oddly, many years later, the very conservative management of that (public radio, run from a high school) station finally happened to pay attention and heard it and banned it forever. Cracked me up when I heard the story while I was a volunteer there.
