Now that´s a surprise! Manfred was somewhat belittled over here although his first records were considerable successes. “Slice Me Nice” is not part of my collection but the follow-ups “Chinese Eyes” and “Get Lost Tonight” still have a place in my heart and in my ears. And in my record collection. I met Manfred in a Munich discotheque in…oh…1988 or 89 or something. There was an event with German disco “stars” (in the broadest possible sense).
