At the end of 1987 Falco announced his return with the single “Body Next To Body.” It was produced by Giorgio Moroder and featured a duet with the Danish actress Brigitte Nielsen.
“Body Next to Body” failed to chart in the UK but went to #22 in Germany, #6 in Austria and #1 in Japan.

This very bizarre collaboration between Falco and singer/actress/model Brigitte Nielsen, then freshly divorced from Sylvester Stallone and trying to make it in the music business, is really one of the strangest things: the song was written and produced by Giorgio Moroder and released in 1987 to kick off Nielsen’s singing career and to be a comeback for Falco on the US market.
