BURNING THE GROUND EXCLUSIVE 1987

thanks for posting this paul,
i would have never gotten around to hearing it,
if it weren’t for the richard kirk remix connection.
i’m a huge fan of cabaret voltaire, so this interests me.
the song itself is ok, and the remix is decent. but it’s
a nice curiosity.
thanks again, and keep up the great work.

Is that Tropical Barbie and Ken? I’m in. Lol!
Thank you for always delivering… you’ve introduced me to so much new music over the years. You rock! xo
Never heard of this. Looks exciting. Will have to give it a listen. Thanks Paul.
I really hope you like it Memoryboy 🙂
Maybe you have the another 12″ from EBOTLR? I you have it, please rip and share it to your loyal fans – another gem from a past !!!!
I will see what I can do Csaba Horváth 🙂
And BAMMMMMM, there is it; you’re my hero, DjPaulT!! Thanks for it!!!!!!
One of the biggest club hit from my hero Dave Ball, the mastermind behind the 80’s intelligent dance scene. Congrat for this vinyl, very rare and fine release here in Europe (especially in Hungary). Thanks for it, very good trip.
You’re welcome Csaba Horváth 🙂
Can’t wait to sink my ears into this one Paul!! I love these recommended 12-inches courtesy of you. They turn out to be extra, extra special. I love all those involved and I’m thrilled to see Richard H. Kirk from Cabaret Voltaire doing a mix as well. So looking forward to this!!
Grateful!!
Jeff
Paul!! I do know this!! Well, not this original version, but the Razormaid! mix. It’s always cool to get the originals from you though. It makes me appreciate the song even more. Way cool!! Thanks for your amazing-ness!!
Jeff
I will have to find the Razormaid mix on youtube and give it a listen. Enjoy Jeff 🙂
Very interesting find. I´m surprised I never knew that one although it´s a remix by my hero FLOOD.
Is the “Gary Hart” title a reference to the politician Gary Warren Hart(pence) and the discoveries about his…urm…private life?
After a little more consideration the b-side remix “Harvey Proctor” answers my question 🙂
Enjoy the record Song_and_Dance 🙂
Thanks Paul. Excellent choice.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
