I’d Do Anything (Dub)
That’s The Way (12”)
Thanks Paul. Missed this one go by. 🙂
Oh I just love DOA, and I love coming here and seeing you post these treasures – thank you 🙂
Thanks for this upload. Always loved the instrumental version and now to hear it in this quality is just great. One of DOA’s best tracks. Thank you!
Great post, Paul. I still remember buying the 12″ of this when it came out!
You say the Instrumental was released only on the 7″ flip, but the UK cassette of Sophisticated Boom Boom included it as a bonus track along with two other instrumentals: Keep That Body Strong (That’s The Way) and Anything (Dub). As far as I’m aware Anything (Dub) has also yet to appear on CD… or Burning The Ground!
Thanks Paul 🙂
I love alot of the Dead Or Alive singles
Paul, I really loved this version of the song. Interesting, when I first got the US 12-inch of “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)” back when it first came out, I tried so hard to get into its flip-side. For the life of me, I really didn’t like the track at all. Pete’s voice is a powerful entity to itself, but I thought the vocals were just too harsh sounding. Because they were soon becoming one of my favorite bands, I got a little depressed because I wasn’t responding the way I wanted to over “Misty Circles.” I actually… Read more »
Always happy to see DoA tracks. One of my favorite dance acts of the time.
Thanks Paul. DOA are cool!
thank you, you are very Dead Or Alive´s fan right?…and Howard Jones…well the thing is great music , and by the way you didn´t post Howard Jones The prisoner 12″…hope you post it, thanks again paul
Yes as was saying above i’ve just noticed on my hard drive Paul that i have this… Dead Or Alive – Nude Remade Remodelled (Bonus Tks) 1989 NRR_burningthegrounddjpault.wordpress.com… Back in the days when this was posted i only ever took things from you at 320 and not FLAC which is very unfortunate (i didn’t really know any better). My question is will you ever re-up that post or re-rip using your superier equipment. Thanks.
Probably won’t be posting that Neil as it is a CD. It’s a pretty rare one from Japan but you can find it on Ebay 🙂
Lol i presumed it was vinyl! No problem.
Like what NKelly said up above, Paul, your site is like a shrine to Dead Or Alive. We can always count on you for gorgeous sounding rips of the bands discography. I love your dedication to Pete Burns and Company and to so many AWESOME 80’s and 90’s entities. I love the crusade you do in keeping our favorite bands and music alive for future generations. You’re just the ultimate DjPaulT.
Jeff
Thank you Jeff I have so much more DOA to come 🙂
That’s awesome news. Got a small DOA request worthy of a post…
Thanks a lot !!!!!!!!
You’re welcome Fred 🙂
I hope this signals a return to more of the Dead Or Alive releases still missing from your blog; would love to see “Lover Come Back To Me” with the “Bonus 7″ Mix” (UK TA6086 or US 49-05278-1) as that 7″ mix has not yet been released on CD. Another missing item is the UK 12″ Remix of My Heart Goes Bang (QTA 6571), the “American Wipe Out Mix” is almost a minute longer on that 12″ than any other release with the same title.
I do have both David. However i’ve got some other commitments to fulfill before I can get to them 🙂
Can’t wait!
Thanks! I’ll be looking forward to them, as well as your other plans! 🙂
I love having things to look forward to!
Got my attention with this one. Very cool post. Thank you Paul! Hope your doing well.
I’m doing great Johnathan. Enjoy!
OMG amazing. Your blog is becoming a shrine to DOA songs unreleased on CD and that is a VERY good thing.
Thank you Neil 🙂
