Love Donna Summer, and this song so much! Never heard the special long version or instrumental versions before. Thank you Paul for sharing these gems with us 🙂
Thank you, very much, Paul! BTW, I think there is a mistake in the instrumental version, at 1:38. The amplitude of the left channel goes down for a few milliseconds.
Big Thanks
Thank you! LOVED this video. So classic. Much appreciated!!!
Thanks Paul. We can never get enough Donna Summer
One of my favorite “Non-Moroder” Donna Summer music.
great!
Love this!! Thanks a lot Paul!
This is my favourite single by Donna Summer. I also love the lyrics. It’s great to get the exclusive instrumental mix in crystal clean sound as well. Thank you so much Paul.
You’re welcome, Daniel. 🙂
Back in 1989, I and a few other 19+ year-olds worked 3rd shift at a warehouse filling orders for boat supplies. The work was mundane, it was super late at night, and the boss was ruthless about breaks as well as picking orders quickly. People were fired left and right or quit. The money was also not so great. We all dressed like slobs because we always got dirty from the dusty cement floors/walls as well as the inventory. One night this kid (who also always dressed as slobby as you could get) who was known to mock everything, started… Read more »
Thanks for sharing that fantastic memory with us Fred. I love that music is like a time capsule it can bring those memories back as if they happened yesterday. I enjoyed reading this 🙂
I really enjoyed this story too a lot Fred. This is a great memory and the way you told it I can picture it quite clearly. I’ve done these sorts of mundane jobs before so I can relate. It really is an hysterical story. Have a nice day!
Jeff

You’re welcome, Omar 🙂
Seeing this pop up on your site has me feeling both happy and sad. Happy, because I love Donna Summer, but so sad because she is no longer with us. She is a treasure for sure. Even my Mom loves Donna Summer. I love how Donna did these rock type of records that could cross over and please various markets. And the video was such a favorite of mine too. This was the year I got a part time job over the Summer months from college and would spend my entire paycheck on records. I loved those days. Not really… Read more »
