What a great trip back to 89… Wasn’t much of a fan back then being more on the industrial side at the time but always had a secret soft spot for a bit of that freestyle every once in a while – thank you man!
Thanks for this one! I saw a music video for “I Like It” back when it first came out and it caught my attention immediately — rather, I should say Dino caught my attention! He was very, very hot. The song was great, too. I bought the 12″ singles for “I Like It” and “Summergirls,” and I also bought the album. I never did get the 12″ for “24/7,” however, so this is an especially nice one for you to upload.
I LOVED this album. “I Like It” was the track that drew me in, but I remember listening to the entire CD many times! I think I remember reading he married a singer from Sweet Sensation or the Cover Girls? I loved both of those groups and still get their songs confused! Thank you for posting this, brings back some excellent memories
Thx Paul.Side-B is a real nice Freestyle track.
Woof! He’s actually a talented writer as well as performer
Need this one. Have never heard any of the mixes on this 12″ single…

I had not heard of it either I checked it out on Youtube it’s a pretty dood freestyle track.
Yes, only have the album version. Plus that 12″ has the “7” edit for Never To Much of U.
Love this so much. I loved this album was a great freestyle album. There is an edited version of Midnight Lovekind on the 7″ single. I really wish they would release an expanded version of this with all the mixes.
I love the album too it’s a guilty pleasure for sure.
Oh my I totally forgot he existed! His tape was a big seller with the jr high-high school crowd at the store I worked at when it was new! Flashback! Another one for a truly lost 80’s mixtape!!!
His first album was a pretty big hit for sure 🙂
I must admit, I don’t remember this song. I do know his “Summer Girls” record though. But that’s the beauty of your Burning The Ground site, Paul. You have introduced so many an artists’ expanded catalogs to my and other’s ears!! Thank you so much for that. I’m very excited to hear this. Thank you again for a potential “new” favorite!!
Jeff
I think you will like it, Jeff, especially the b-side. 🙂
