Just love the diversity of selections – more CC please THANKS Paul
You’re welcome Tmb 🙂
Wow, thanks for such a rare treat! Their album Diary of a Hollow Horse was one of my favorite albums from the 80s.
You’re welcome Richard 🙂
Thank you Paul for these 2 beautiful posts of yesterday and today. The message behind these 2 songs is so strong. Roy said it perfectly. I’m afraid we will never learn from our mistakes. We are led by bad people and I am rather pessimistic for the future. All we can do is trying to give love and joy around us. You do this perfectly through BTG, Paul.
P.S. Not only the message but also the songs themselves are awesome. The remix of “Time will teach us all” sounds great.
I agree with you so much Daniel. We have bad leadership in the U.S. and I am afraid it’s not going to bet better. I am so glad that we all have each other here on BTG 🙂
Thank you so much Paul. This is such an evocative tune with a lot of good memories attached. I haven’t heard the 12 inch version since John Peel played it 35 years ago!
Africana, African and white, You’re closer than you really ever know,
And we all run the risk of, To remain silent I don’t know.
Life is a fever we create.
We need your faith and hostility, To be certain of a change,
And could you ever recover from, Forever recover from this prejudice.
Life is a fever we create, Our life is just a fever.
You’re very welcome Shaun. I felt it needed to be hears now more than ever 🙂
In these very dark and troubled times and with racial hatred and intolerance spreading across the U.S. like a deadly plague, this song seems very apt and relevant at the moment. Why oh why do we have to have hate, despair, ignorance and suffering when we can all unite together as one strong force through love, understanding, respect and friendship. Alas, I think it will never happen as all man seems to be intent in doing is to hurt and destroy each other. Anyway, enough of me spouting on Paul. Many thanks for the above post and I send love… Read more »
Thank you Roy very well said. The country is following by example I just hope that we can make it through without destroying ourselves.
Thanks!
You’re welcome Tony 🙂
Oh yes! All of the China Crisis!
🙂
Thanks a million Paul. I’m looking forward to the China Crisis deluxe reissues on cd next month. In the meantime do you have the 12″ mixes of No More Blue Horizons and Tragedy & Mystery? Much appreciated.
You’re welcome Omar 🙂
