**24bit FLAC Only Available For Seven Days!
Actually not 🙁
I suggest subscribing to the site so you do not miss my posts. I cannot control when Wetransfer deletes files. They are supposed to stay active for seven days.
Why is 24 bit no longer available???
Ask Wetransfer I don’t know why they expired the link early.
This is one of my all-time favorite 80s tracks. And now I finally have it in superb DjPaulT quality! YAY!!! THANK YOU!!!
I think this track heavily influenced the production method of Stock/Aitken/Waterman (the instrumental sequencing), especially on tracks like Bananarama’s “Venus” and DOA’s “Spin Me Round”! Somehow I’ve never seen the video until now.
You’re welcome, Martika. 🙂
Welcome back Paul!! I think I can speak for everyone in that we all missed you. I hope you had a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation. I wasn’t familiar with this one, but it’s catchy and I love the New Wave sound! I can see it packing the dance floors back in the day. Thank you!
Thank you, Retro Hound. I had a nice time off. I missed you guys as well. 🙂
First, welcome back, Paul!! I missed you. Hope you had a great time!!
I am so pumped to have this Boytronic record from you!! It was my very first introduction to the band. I so love it. This and “Brilliant” bring back fond memories. The early 1980s made quite the impression on me and my ears. This post-disco synth-pop shaped my musical tastes. Thank you, Paul, once again for these audio treasures!!
Again, thrilled you are back!!
Jeff
You’re welcome, Jeff. It is good to be back I missed all of you. I was shocked that this single did not chart in the US I thought it had at least made it to the dance chart. This one and “Man In Uniform” are the only songs I am familiar with and of course their cover of “I Will Survive”.
Paul, it’s cool that you said this. I was exposed to this song via a VHS video cassette, called “Dansepak” or something along these lines. I purchased the tape because it had the video for “Hip Hop Be-Bop (Don’t Stop)” by Man Parrish on it. There were other clips, but all these videos were brand new to me. “You” really stood out. I’ve been a fan ever since. Thank you so much for this 12-inch mix!!
Jeff
The you should definitely check out their debut record “The Working Model” from 1983. Pure Synth Wave with “Luna Square” being my favorite Boytronic song. This and “You” were sure dance floor fillers back in the days in my town.
greetings from Berlin.
“Sehr, sehr geil!” as we would say here in (Germany and) Austria!
Thank “YOU”! 😉
You’re welcome, Christian. Also thanks for teaching me some German as well 🙂
“Sehr, sehr geil!” mehr braucht man dazu nicht sagen!
