Have it, of course. I love that song and I love the extended version with its break and the famous background singers singing almost acapella. You just have to pump up the volume, wishig that part went on for two minutes. Great post, Paul.

Wow Paul! Fantastic post and the remastering just blows me away! My favourite song by Mr. Geldof. As far as I know this extended version mixed by Rupert Hine was never released on CD or digitally. It could have been included on Bob Geldof’s boxset “The anthology 1986-2001”, missed opportunity once again by the label. Didn’t know about the 3 great singers on backing vocals. Thanks a million Paul. One question: is this really a vinyl rip? It sounds like it has been remastered from the original mastertape. Fantastic work! You are the best 🙂

I’ve always wanted to hear more Bob Geldof besides Boomtown Rats and Band Aid, so thank you Paul for further opening my ears to this artist’s solo stuff. Looking forward to it.
