hi there,
omgosh, what an amazing collection of great tunes from my teenage years, so well collected and the artworks really take me back!! I really need to find that arcadia so red.. deluxe issue in mp3 320! can you help? sorry for being cheeky! I hope you don’t mind me asking?!
in any case, such an amazing blog – Thank you! Tym
Another great one, Paul. This is particularly interesting because these extended versions were edited by a couple of minutes each on the deluxe reissue of “This Is Big Audio Dynamite” a little while back. Your versions are the best anyone’s going to hear of the full tracks. Thanks again!
Thanks CakeSaint yeah I noticed these tracks were edited down on the CD for some reason. Glad I was able to offer the full mixes. Cheers!
Thanks Paul. Keep the new wave alive !
lol New Wave is alve and kicking on BTG!
This is cool! Not something you see every day. Come to think of it, not something I’ve EVER seen! Thanks Paul!! 😀
You’re very welcome Cory 🙂
Would love to hear more BAD. The Globe and C’mon Every Beatbox are personal favorites. 🙂
Hey Paul, have you ever posted any Red Box? I thought you might have in the old days. Either way, I hope you can!
Thanks again!
You’re welcome Goodguy. I don’t recall posting Red Box. I will check them out.
Please do. Thanks again. 🙂

If there is an excellent request, this is it!
Red Box is totally under-rated.
I bought their singles back in the 80s.
Lean On Me is their biggest hit, followed by For America.
Their other singles (Chenko and Saskatchewan) are also unique. Heart Of The Sun is my personal favourite.
They only released one album in the 80s, but it is a real cult classic.
Cherry Pop recently remastered this album, but the tracklist was a major letdown. Those juicy remixes were left out! Very disappointing.
You are possibly our one true hope now, Paul!
I feel like I am Obi-Wan Kenobi lol I will see what I can do Eic 🙂
Thanks Paul (and thanks to Ric for the backup). 🙂
I actually have the “Red Box” box set of their first 7″s somewhere. I don’t even see that on discogs, so I have no clue if it was some one-off. I love the bands later stuff too. The last couple albums are GREAT, even if not synthy or geared for top 40 radio.
Wow! Love B.A.D. More early singles if possible please! Been waiting to find the full length dub of A Party. And you go and give it to us in FLAC! Always such wonderfully eclectic selections. I appreciate your restorations of all the artwork almost as much as the music itself! You are one of the last classic music bloggers out there still standing. Thanks Paul!
You’re welcome Mothloop. Hopefully others will appreciate this music as much as you 🙂
I do I do I do I do I do…
Thank u thank u thank u thank u thank u!
B.A.D is really Bad…as in Michael Jackson Bad.
My favourite single is E=MC2.
And I love their Higher Power album.
One of the guys was even married or engaged to Patsy Kensit at one time. The best looking one. LOL!
Lol you’re funny Ric love your sense of humour 🙂
