Hi Paul, I saw this post and as much as I am a Fanilow like many and know most of his songs, I was not aware of this one. Other than Copacabana and I’m Your Man, this song comes a “new song” for me which is why I want to thank you for sharing this with us. I also want to give an extra thank you for you adding the Disconet version of this song as I am very much a fan of this dj promo mixes. Thank you again for always enriching us with music that we did not… Read more »
Oh.Wow!🤯❤️🎊
What a treasure! Barry was a huge part of my growing up and my mom’s all time fave. I’ve taken her to see him twice and he is an amazing performer. It’s so wild how his shows don’t skip a beat and have such a fast pace when he’s know for so many ballads!
Loved this track when GH2 was released and am so excited to have these mixes!!!! Have a great weekend!
We are vacationing in Colorado!
Barry is currently on his farewell tour. He just passed through my city (Tulsa) and I heard the show was electrifying. Have a great vacation.
We saw him at Radio City in April. Great Show!!!
Yes, ING, have a great vacation!!
Jeff
Thank you, Paul! I’m afraid I don’t know any Manilow songs except Copacabana and Mandy, so I’m really excited to explore these remixes. I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Those are two of his greatest. I hope you like this one. Have a great weekend. 🙂
Wow Paul, you read my mind again, LOL. I just recently pulled this song/single out of my archives. Now you’ve given it a fresh new coat of paint and shiny new sheen!! Like Jeff said, I’m a “Fanilow” (never heard that before, but it’s great) and I love his ballads, but this was such an underrated dance club hit. It’s good to see it charted, the guy could do no wrong then! Another great dance hit of his is I’m Your Man, which you’ve posted in the past. Thank you Paul!! I hope you, Jeff, Martika, DJ XREY and everyone… Read more »
Wishing you a fantastic weekend too!
I am a Fanilow too lol.Barry was known for the ballads but when he turned out a dance track it was amazing. “I’m Your Man” is my favorite. Have a great weekend 🙂
Hurray!! Thanks, Paul, for pulling this back out from your vaults! I used to love this song so much. I even played it on my college’s radio station! It was awesome getting something a bit different from Barry Manilow. I mean, I am a “Fanilow” and I adore his ballads, but I thought it was extra cool that Mr. Manilow gave us a great dance song! And this post is extra special because it has the Disconet Remix which you have generously shared again. Disconet, I believe was America’s first remix service. Such memories with the remix services for me.… Read more »
Wishing you a fun weekend too, Jeff! I for one am putting my dancing shoes on, opening a bottle of wine, and dancing to Paul’s recent offerings. And now that you mentioned it, I may have to listen to some Disconet remixes too!
I am a “Fanilow” too and I don’t mind saying it 🙂 I love this song, and I think Disconet improved the mix. Have a wonderful weekend, Jeff 🙂
