“Time Talkin'” is a song recorded by American husband-and-wife songwriting, production, and recording duo Ashford & Simpson composed of Nickolas Ashford (May 4, 1941 – August 22, 2011) and Valerie Simpson (born August 26, 1946).
The single was taken from Dave Clark’s “Time” a concept album based on Dave Clark’s 1986 musical Time. “Time Talkin'” was only released as a single in Europe, and Australia failing to chart.
There was not a music video produced for this single.

A perfect contribution for Black History Month by two of the most prolific R&B and pop songwriters next to Holland/Dozier/Holland.
Don’t forget their great club hit “It Seems To Hang On” and the #1 dance hit “The Boss” they wrote for Diana Ross – both from 1979.
Maybe Paul has more Ashford & Simpson 12”ers to post as this is the only song by them in the BTG archives!

Motown also issued DJ promo remixes of “It’s My House” and the rare “No One Gets The Prize” by David Morales (IIRC), as all the album’s songs were listed at #1 on Billboard’s dance chart.
